I got your attention with that title, right?
There are many uses for different types of mini-movies. Some can be used as a an introduction to a service or a sermon. Some work as great transitions from one piece of your service to the next. Some tell a visual story that no clever anecdote ever could. Some get the wheels turning before you begin speaking about something your folks may have not been thinking about already.
And some mini-movies tackle a hard topic for us, knowing that some things are just difficult to talk about in church… usually the things that most need to be addressed.
I Had Sex by Skit Guys is one of those videos.
As the dad in the video accurately communicates, no one likes talking about sex. But addressing love and romance and sexuality in the context of our Christian faith is vitally important. Everyone else in our culture is talking about sex, and it’s critical that we, as the church, tell our own story. If you’re looking at teaching on this tough topic, take a look at I Had Sex. It may just be what you need to intro your sermon.

And if your church likes a good animated typography video, check out Dan Stevers’ newest, The Story of Sex:
This month’s free wallpaper is not at all wintery – mainly because it’s not feeling at all wintery around Dallas this month. BUT… it’s still very pretty. And that’s what’s important.
