Kids love mini-pumpkins. They’re cute, and as mini-people, kids can relate to them. This series will introduce students to four kids from the Bible who made a big difference in their world.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

LESSONS:
1) Miriam - Miriam was just a kid when her mom told her to look out for her baby brother. She saved his life, and her brother saved Israel. God can use kids like you to look out for even smaller kids. Exodus 2:1-10

2) Josiah - Josiah was just a boy when he inherited a kingdom that was falling apart. But thanks to the boy king Josiah, Israel was brought back to God. God can use kids like Josiah, and you, to set an example, even for grownups! 2 Kings 23:1-4, 21-25.

3) David - When all the adults ran and hid, a boy named David defeated a giant. God can use kids to do great things! 1 Samuel 17

4) Samuel - Samuel was one of Israel’s greatest leaders and a prophet, but did you know Samuel started serving God when he was a boy? Samuel shows us that God can use everyone, even kids, if they have a willing heart. 1 Samuel 3
