Give God Your Best
Give God Your Best

Honoring God isn’t about “checking boxes.” It’s about giving God your best! It doesn’t matter if you are doing more or less than someone else (in fact, it has nothing to do with what other people are doing!). Jesus saw a man giving a ton of money to the temple, but the person He was impressed with was the widow who gave only two copper coins. People are impressed when we give a lot (even if it’s not our best), God is impressed when we give our best (even if it’s not a lot). That man who gave a ton of money might have given only a tiny bit of what he had, but the woman gave it all. And this isn’t just about money, it’s about our time and talents too! The way the world judges us is not the way that God judges us. He knows everything about us (even more than we know about ourselves!) and He’s the only real judge. So let’s give God our best!
