The Last Sacrifice

Jesus is the last sacrifice for sin that we will ever need. Instead of making sacrifices over and over again for sin, Jesus made one sacrifice that was once for all. And His sacrifice demands a sacrifice from us. We must surrender the idea that we can save ourselves. It's only through Jesus Christ that we can have eternal life. Only Jesus can save us. There's nothing that we can do in our own power to earn or deserve salvation. Letting go of control is hard, we want to do things for ourselves. But the only way to heaven is to believe in Jesus Christ and accept the free gift made possible by the last sacrifice.
