When we think about who we are, we typically think about very superficial and temporary things: Where we're from, what we have, what we look like, our hobbies, our favorite sports team, etc. But if all of these things were taken away, you'd still be you. There is a part of you that will always be you no matter what, and that's your soul. Your soul is the you that's still you even after everything you have on earth is gone. Jesus said that you shall love the Lord your God with all your soul. The deepest truest part of you is meant to love God. And when you are living for God, you can see a glimpse of your very best self, the "you" you were always meant to be.
