A lot of the "heroes" of the Bible don't seem all that heroic at times... Why is that? The truth is that people aren't perfect, we all mess up. Even the people we might call "heroes" are not perfect. Thank goodness that we serve a God who loves us (and others who fail) and forgives us of our sins. There's only one real hero, only one who is perfect, and His name is Jesus. He's the real hero of the Bible and the only true hero, period. Let's follow Him with all our hearts!
